Details about instrumentation and the acquisition settings are displayed for each FCS file with details as required by MIFlowCyt section 3. For instrument components that are not user configurable and that are part of a standard model, the instrument manufacturer, model number and installation dates of filters is typically sufficient to uniquely specifies the required information. For other cases, details including the flow cell type and fluidics details as well as details about all optical paths shall be specified.
