Experiment Overview

Repository ID: FR-FCM-Z2VX Experiment name: Rhinovirus Challenge Study_TREX MIFlowCyt score: 68.50%
Primary researcher: Lyndsey Muehling PI/manager: Lyndsey Muehling Uploaded by: Lyndsey Muehling
Experiment dates: 2020-09-14 - Dataset uploaded: Sep 2020 Last updated: Aug 2021
Keywords: [CD4 T cells] [MHC multimers] [rhinovirus] Manuscripts: Elifelogo
Organizations: University of Virginia, Charlottesville, VA (USA)
Purpose: Healthy adult volunteers were experimentally challenged with RV-A16. PBMCs were monitored longitudinally in order to track CD4+ T cell responses to infection. Rhinovirus specificity was determined by staining with MHCII tetramers.
Conclusion: Analysis with T-REX reveals that in infected subjects, those cells with the greatest change from pre-infection (day 0) to acute infection (day 7) time points are enriched for rhinovirus tetramer+ cells.
Comments: None
Funding: NIH U01 AI125056
Quality control: All data were unmixed using single-stained reference controls, and tetramer and phenotypic gates were identified using FMO controls. All samples from one subject were analyzed in the same experiment.
