The FlowRepository admin email (flowrepository-admin@isac-net.org) has not been working since December 13th 2018 and is still not working. From January 3rd 2019 the website will now link directly to the admin, Justin, through his email of justinmeskas@gmail.com. If you had sent a support ticket or any other means to connect to the admins of FlowRepository between those two dates, those emails did not go through. Please forward any emails to him, or re-create any issues through the website. Sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience and understanding.

Which web browser should I use?

We recommend the latest version of Mozilla Firefox. You should be able to run FlowRepository using most of other major web browsers, including Google Chrome, Apple Safari or Internet Explorer. however, you may not be able to access all functionality and the appearance may not be optimal if you use one of the other browsers.

In order to perform online data analysis, your browser must be able to run Java version 1.5.1 or higher; you can verify your Java version using an Online Java Tester directly from your web browser. If needed, Mac users should use the Apple software update feature to install Java, Windows users can get the latest Java from a Java Download Page, and Linux users should preferably obtain Java and the Firefox Java plugin directly from their distribution.

In the past, Java was also required to upload and download data. This is not the case any more as we offer HTML5 based alternatives for data upload and download. This also enables the use of FlowRepository with modern portable devices (e.g., smart phones and tables); however, please note that FlowRepository is not specifically designed for those devices and we cannot guarantee optimal display or that all functionality will be working as expected.
