Purpose: | To assess ability to enumerate Oenococcus oeni and Saccharomyces cerevisiae in samples. | ||||
Conclusion: | Enumeration complicated due to presence of O. oeni chaining. Able to see both bacteria and yeast on a single cytogram. Analyses should be treated with caution. Particulate interference based on growth medium is also a factor to be considered when assessing wine samples. | ||||
