Purpose: Identify main populations of sputum-derived cells by comparing the fluorescent profiles produced by isotype antibodies versus the fluorescent minus one (FMO) parameter.
Conclusion: FMO profiles produced more defined population boundaries when compared to isotype antibody profiles, allowing for cleaner cell population gate definitions.
