Experiment Overview

Repository ID: FR-FCM-Z66K Experiment name: Molecular analysis and comparison of CD34+ and CD133+ very small embryonic-like stem cells (VSELs) purified from umbilical cord blood (UCB) ? Brief Report. MIFlowCyt score: 81.31%
Primary researcher: Kamila Bujko PI/manager: Kamila Bujko Uploaded by: Kamila Bujko
Experiment dates: 2022-08-01 - 2022-10-31 Dataset uploaded: Apr 2023 Last updated: Apr 2023
Keywords: [HSC] [Very Small Embryonic-Like Stem Cells (VSELs)] [FACS Verse] Manuscripts:
Organizations: Warsaw Medical University, Laboratory of Regenerative Medicine, Warsaw, (Poland)
Purpose: The purpose of flow cytometry analysis was to enumerate CD133+ and CD34+ Very Small Embryonic-Like Stem Cells (VSELs) in human umbilical cord blood (hUCB) and to analyze the coexpression of both markers.
Conclusion: 13 samples were analyzed and average number of in-CD45-CD133+ and Lin-CD45-CD34+ VSELs in hUCB was calculated as well as coexpression of CD133 and CD34 markers.
Comments: The reposited FCS files contain a representative dot plots used to enumerate Lin-CD45-CD133+ and Lin-CD45-CD34+ VSELs in hUCB. Data were aquired on The BD FACSVerse? instrument.
Funding: Not disclosed
Quality control: The flow cytometer automatic compensation was performed.
