Purpose: | To evaluate whether there were cell-to-cell variations in GA-producing strains. | ||||
Conclusion: | The strain QCGA+ had a wider sfGFP fluorescence distribution than the control strain based on the flow cytometry at 36, 48, and 60 hours. In addition, QCGA+ with Tc had higher sfGFP fluorescence intensity than QCGA+ without Tc at 36, 48, and 60 hours. It also indicated that the variation of the GA production by QCGA+ with and without Tc was 1.77-, 1.94-, and 2.15-fold at 36, 48, and 60 hours, respectively. Correspondingly, the difference in sfGFP fluorescence was also greater at 36, 48, and 60 hours. These results suggested variations between cells in the production of GA. | ||||
