Experiment Overview

Repository ID: FR-FCM-Z7ZR Experiment name: Flow cytometry of FISH samples MIFlowCyt score: 42.50%
Primary researcher: Valérie Mattelin PI/manager: Valérie Mattelin Uploaded by: Valérie Mattelin
Experiment dates: 2022-10-25 - 2023-10-25 Dataset uploaded: Oct 2023 Last updated: Jun 2025
Keywords: [FISH] [microbial ecology] Manuscripts:

Purpose: Higer order taxonomic groups were labelled by Fluorescent in situ hybridisation (FISH) in mixed microbial communities to evaluate the community composition over time. The FISH labelling increases the information in the fingerprint by adding taxonomic and translational information next to the phenotypic information.
Conclusion: FISH adds information to our flow cytometric fingerprint that enables more thourough understanding of the community dynamics
