Purpose: Here, we aimed to assess the cytokine production and activation of innate cells in malaria-naive children and adults. We stimulated PBMCs from malaria-naive children and adults with Plasmodium-infected red blodd cells in vitro.
Conclusion: There are differences between how innate cells from children and adults respond to a first parasite exposure
