| Purpose: | The purpose is to investigate the post-transcriptional autoregulation of the Rpl7 ribosomal protein on the first intron of RPL7B in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Yeast strains were made expressing eGFP with different variants of this intron. Rpl7 was induced and the resulting eGFP was measured by flow cytometry. The Rpl7 protein was fused with mCherry, and induced cells were selected by gating on mCherry expression. | ||||
