Experiment Overview

Repository ID: FR-FCM-ZZCE Experiment name: RNA Flow Cytometry: multiplexing evaluation MIFlowCyt score: 97.75%
Primary researcher: Chip Lomas PI/manager: Emily Park Uploaded by: Chip Lomas
Experiment dates: 2012-05-01 - 2012-05-01 Dataset uploaded: May 2014 Last updated: May 2014
Keywords: [Gene expression] [RNA Amplification] [RNA hybridization] [RNA Flow cytometry] Manuscripts: [23441230] [PMC3575505] Plosonelogo
Organizations: BD Biosciences, Research and Development, San Jose, CA (USA)
Purpose: The purpose was to evaluate the multiplexing capability of RNA flow cytometry by staining 3 mRNA targets simultaneously.
Conclusion: After RNA staining, we were able to confirm positive staining for all three targets: BCR, ABL, and 18s. Cells were sorted and also validated by imaging.
Comments: Detection of Low Abundance RNA Molecules in Individual Cells by Flow Cytometry Figure 4A-B
Funding: Not disclosed
Quality control: Instrument was setup using CST in FACSDiva software.
