Notice: Temporary Suspension of New Experiment Creation
We have temporarily disabled the creation of new experiments as we are continuously running out of space. This issue has been impacting both uploads and downloads from FlowRepository. By taking this step, we aim to make downloads of existing data more reliable.
We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work on upgrading our hardware and improving the overall solution.

Experiment Overview

Repository ID: FR-FCM-ZZF2 Experiment name: Magnetic Field and Nano Effects MIFlowCyt score: 74.86%
Primary researcher: Anjan Kumar Dasgupta PI/manager: Anjan Kumar Dasgupta Uploaded by: Anjan Dasgupta
Experiment dates: 2013-07-08 - 2013-08-07 Dataset uploaded: Sep 2014 Last updated: Nov 2014
Keywords: [nanoparticle] [normal cells] [multidimension data] Manuscripts: [25314902]
Organizations: University of Calcutta, CU- BD CoE for Nanobiotechnology, CRNN, Bidhan Nagar Sai Complex, West Bengal (India)
Purpose: To study effect of small perturbation to cell population , normal and cancer cells were exposed to static magnetic and nanoparticle (independently and in presence of nanoparticles). JC1 was used as a multicolor probe. Higher dimensional clustering technique followed by cluster map design were employed.
Conclusion: The cluster map showed how new populations subclusters are created and /or different clusters are fused to form new clusters when a cell population is perturbed. The Process is perturbation dependent and cell dependent
Comments: The technique can be employed as an exploration tool in nanomedicine
Funding: West Bengal Govt Dept of Biotechnology
Quality control: FCS collection for software testing
