Purpose: Manuscripted submitted to Cytometry, Part A; "A Novel Flow Cytometric Application Discriminates Among the Effects of Chemical Inhibitors on Various Phases of Babesia divergens Intra-Erythrocytic Cycle". Fig. 2 The performance of Vybr-FACS against SYBR-FACS and light microscopy was assessed with the same set of serially diluted (SD) samples.
Conclusion: Vybr-FACS yields parasitemia measurements comparable to other standard methods. Vybr-FACS provides a more accurate measurement of the intracellular parasite load when compared to SYBR-FACS
