| Keywords: | [SRSF1] [IRES] [IRES transacting factor] | Manuscripts: | |||

| Purpose: | to determine the impact of SRSF1 on cell cycling of T47D cells | ||||
| Conclusion: | Downregulation of SRSF1 leads to G2/M arrest | ||||
| Comments: | T47D cells growing in a 6-well plate and transfected with the siRNAs targeting SRSF1 were trypsinized, washed in PBS, and fixed for 30 min at 4C with 70% ice cold ethanol. The cells were then washed again with PBS and stained with propidium iodine (200 microliter of 50 µg/µL stock solution) for 20 minutes. Unstained cells constituted a negative control. Flow cytometry was done in a LSRII Flow Cytometer (Becton Dickinson) using BD FACSDiva v8.0 (BD Biosciences) and results were analyzed using the ModFit LT software (Verity Software House, Topsham, Maine).
